Pesach (he/him) re-joined Footsteps staff in March 2024 as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He has been a Footsteps member since 2011 and has previously worked on staff from 2019 to 2022. In his current role, Pesach works to support members — through individual psychotherapy, group counseling, and other supportive services — as they navigate life transitions or the complex journey of leaving the fold. Equipped with a combination of clinical and personal experience, Pesach aims to offer a collaborative and rehabilitative therapeutic approach that promotes safety, acceptance, and personally-meaningful movement towards an improved quality of life. Pesach holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience, from CUNY Brooklyn College.
