Alexa (she/her) joined Footsteps in September 2019 as a Social Worker. She works with individuals and groups to support members in improving the quality of their lives. She prioritizes cultivating a safe space for members to show up exactly as they are in order to facilitate growth from a place of non-judgment. She leads with a gentleness that helps clients feel seen, but also adequately supported to be challenged. Alexa has extensive clinical training in working with couples and families. She deeply values the knowledge she has gained from Family Systems Therapy that informs her work as a psychotherapist. Alexa holds a master’s degree in social work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work.
