Thanksgiving can be a wonderful opportunity to create traditions that are unique and meaningful to you. At Footsteps, our annual focus at ThanksDinner is the gratitude we have for each other. Footsteps members have come so far, and when brand-new members look to the rest of us, they see people who traversed unmapped roads and modeled what it’s like to defy the odds and achieve the impossible.
We look forward to celebrating with you and those in your life – you are welcome to bring one guest, including non-Footsteppers. As in previous years, all Footstepper children are welcome!
In honor of this gratitude we share, the program for the evening will include:
– Delicious Thanksgiving themed food with Kosher options
– A station to make a dried flower bouquet for someone you are grateful for
– An opportunity to listen to the words and stories of some of our Writers Guild Initiative workshop participants to further celebrate members’ journeys
– A communal singing activity lead by Footstepper M, so everyone can joyfully bring their voice into the space
– A separate room for Second Gen, where children will be supervised and can enjoy exciting entertainment
