Join us on Monday, March 16th from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Footsteps space for Staying Safe Online: A Beginner-Friendly Cybersecurity Workshop! There will be a light dinner from 7:00-7:30 PM, followed by the workshop from 7:30-9:00 PM, led by Alex, the owner/lead tech at T-LON Technologies.
This workshop will break down why protecting your personal data matters, walk you through the basics of staying safe online, and provide practical tips you can start using right away. We’ll cover everyday threats (e.g. phishing, scams, malware), device security, smart password habits, and how to keep your communication and social‑media presence private. Bring any questions you have, because we’ll finish with a Q&A.
