This Celebrating You, we gather to celebrate the buds in our lives, whether they’re in full, radiant bloom, or just beginning to poke out from the soil. We are growing all the time – planting new seeds, weeding out what doesn’t serve us, and tending to the garden beds where we thrive. Maybe this year was full of unexpected weather. Maybe some of your plants flourished while others struggled to survive. Whatever this past year held for you, we want to uplift and celebrate not only your accomplishments, but also the steps you took (and might still be taking) to nourish yourself and your communities.
We invite you to share your accomplishments from this past year with us. Every win, even those that potentially didn’t turn out as planned, deserve to be honored and cherished. We encourage you to share every victory, whether big or small, so we can celebrate all the ways you’ve grown this past year.
Additionally, in the spirit of lauding our community’s accomplishments, we’re also excited to launch Mimesis, Footsteps’ third annual zine, at this year’s Celebrating You. All attendees will have the opportunity to receive a beautiful print copy of the zine.
This event is open to Footsteps members and guests who are not Footsteps members. Every member can bring one guest; all attendees must be 18 years old or older. Please note that alcohol will be available at this event. We will check IDs, and all attendees who are 21 and older will get a wristband and two tickets for alcoholic beverages. People under the age of 21 and anyone else who opts not to drink for any reason will be able to use their tickets for non-alcoholic beverages.
