Aliyah (she/her) joined Footsteps in September 2024. As Community Engagement Associate, Aliyah coordinates meaningful, member-centered programming and also manages Footsteps’ micro-grants program. Aliyah is an experienced community builder, facilitator, curriculum developer, and survivor advocate with experience working in a myriad of intersectional queer feminist spaces. She is passionate about building a more liberated future through the cultivation of self-determined, interdependent care webs. Aliyah has bachelor’s degrees in gender and sexuality studies and literary arts from Brown University.
