Sophie (she/her) joined Footsteps in June 2020. She works to support members through one-on-one counseling, group facilitation, and running Footsteps’ clinical internship program. She approaches the therapeutic process as a collaboration that enables safety and helps individuals harness their own capacity for integration and joy. Sophie holds a Master’s of Social Work from New York University. She also has done extensive post-graduate training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), both of which are therapy modalities that are often utilized to support clients healing from trauma.
