Deirdre (she/her) joined Footsteps in September 2023. She supports members in individual therapy and in group facilitation. Deirdre approaches her work with patience and empathy, utilizing a trauma-focused lens. She is committed to supporting clients’ self-determination and empowering folks to live as their authentic selves. Her prior work has centered advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, incarcerated survivors and those living with disabilities. Deirdre completed her Master of Social Work from New York University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s & Gender Studies from California State University, Sacramento.
